Molecular profiling and tumor markers play critical roles in personalizing immunotherapy treatment in patients with metastatic colorectal cancer. To further enhance the benefits of targeted therapy, and improve patient health outcomes, care provided by an interprofessional, multidisciplinary team is needed. The benefits of interprofessional collaboration are described with real-world strategies for success.
