Advances in treatment have substantially extended the life expectancy of persons with hemophilia. At the same time, providing holistic patient-centered care has also grown more complex, necessitating that care is provided by an interprofessional, multidisciplinary team. The principles of interprofessional collaboration and real-world strategies for implementation in the care of patients with hemophilia are outlined.
