- Summarize epidemiology of HTN, its prevalence and historical perspective
- Definition of pre-hypertension, sustained hypertension, masked hypertension, and white coat hypertension. Discuss causes of primary and secondary hypertension
- Discuss patient evaluation and define non-pharmacological and pharmacological interventions for treating hypertension
