Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity, participants should be better able to:
- Interpret thyroid function tests and recognize common patterns of thyroid dysfunction, including the role of thyroid antibodies
- Evaluate when treatment is indicated and select appropriate management strategies for hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism.
- Counsel patients about common thyroid-related concerns and misconceptions, including diet, thyroid hormone replacement, and thyroid eye disease
