- Recognize the most important ways to approach a complex multisystem rheumatic illness: history, physical examination, and functional tests like CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, Urinalysis, ESR, CRP, and CK
- Discuss why an “arthritis panel” should not be used
- Recognize the important role of ANA in lupus diagnosis and the way various ANA determinants leads us to be able to identify various connective tissue diseases
